UKS

Rafiki worked as a curatorial assistant and exhibition coordinator at the Young Artist´s Association (UKS) in 2020 and 2021. UKS (Unge Kunstneres Samfund / Young Artists’ Society) is an Oslo-based institution for contemporary art and a Norwegian membership organization, founded by artists for artists in 1921. Rafiki is the first woman artist of Afro-Norwegian heritage to hold the position. She co-curated Amber Ablett’s solo exhibition “Rehearsal for A Change Gonna Come” (12 February – 28 March 2021).
